We at EnglishShop.be do our very best to provide the most accurate and up-to-date product image and description, although sometimes errors may occur. We do not give detailed nutritional data and it is important that you do not rely solely on information on EnglishShop.be, but refer to the manufacturer's own website and product labels.
EnglishShop.be does not assume any liability for loss or damage resulting from errors or omissions in respect of the information presented. Product information and images are subject to change without notice and it could happen that the image of the product shown on our website is different from the actual product packaging that you receive as manufacturers sometimes change and update their packaging.
The prices stated on the website are inclusive of Belgian VAT. Unfortunately, we have to charge this and the general rule is 6% on all food products and 21% on non-food. (In the UK, most food has no VAT applied.)
Without exception, the price of the product will be the same as that shown on the web site at the time you confirm your order (usually by clicking the "checkout" button), subject only to any inadvertent technical error for which we will not be liable. If you subsequently amend your order to add items, the prices charged will be those applicable to the new item(s) at the time that the amended order is confirmed.
Please note that as promotions are offered for a limited period of time, subsequent amendments to your order may mean that certain promotions are no longer available.
If your order is subject to a delivery charge, this will be shown as a separate charge on the delivery confirmation page before you confirm your order. Any delivery charge added to your order will be dependant upon, amongst other things, the value of your order, the date and time of your delivery and your delivery address. We reserve the right to amend delivery charges at our discretion.
There is a minimum order requirement of € 30 to qualify for free local delivery in the following postcode zones:

- 1150 Woluwe St.Pierre
- 1160 Auderghem
- 1170 Watermael Boisfort
- 1200 Woluwe St.Lambert
- 1930 Zaventem
- 1932 St.Stevens-Woluwe
- 1933 Sterrebeek
- 1950 Kraainem
- 3080 Tervuren
- 3090 Overijse
Orders under the minimum amount stated, but still within these postcode zones, will be charged a standard delivery charge as stated on the order confirmation at checkout. We reserve the right to change or amend our terms of delivery and scale of delivery charges at anytime, but in all cases, you will only be charged the rate shown on your order confirmation.
If you require a group delivery or special delivery outside these postcode zones, please contact us directly. We are happy to discuss group deliveries for offices, clubs, churches and organisations on an ad hoc basis.
If you wish to 'Click & Collect' your order, orders must be made by 9pm on the evening before you wish to collect. Orders can be collected between 10am and 12:30pm any day except Monday (Sundays by appointment only) from our depot in Hoornzeelstraat 21, Tervuren. We reserve the right to change the days and times available for collection by posting a notice on our website homepage. Any orders placed in due time before the change comes into effect, will of course be respected and be available for collection as desired.
We respect your privacy. The personal information that you give us is held with care and security. We do not sell, rent or transfer this information to third parties for their marketing purposes unless you agree otherwise.
At the time of your registration you will be asked to enter a password. Please keep this secret, as you are entirely responsible if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your password. You are entirely responsible for all orders placed with us or information given to us under your e-mail address in combination with your password. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your e-mail address and/or password or any breach of security known to you.
In assessing your request for delivery of products from us, we reserve the right to make enquiries about you, including searching records held by organisations like Experian and Equifax and other credit reference agencies. We may also check your details held by the IMRG Security Alert scheme and other fraud prevention schemes.
We guarantee the quality of our products. You must inspect the goods and notify us promptly in writing, by phoning our office or by emailing customerservice@englishshop.be of any dissatisfaction with your order. We will promptly and fully refund the price of any items that do not meet with your reasonable satisfaction or arrange for replacement, provided that you notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange with you for the unsatisfactory items to be returned to us.
In respect of non-perishable items, you have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 8am on the day of despatch from our depot by notifying us by telephone or e-mail.
Should you wish to cancel your order after the cut off period but prior to the time of delivery, we shall be entitled to charge you in full for an amount equal to any costs incurred by us in preparing or packing your order as well as any costs incurred by us in the despatch and return of the items to our depot.
We will arrange with you for cancelled non-perishable goods to be returned to us, and we will credit your payment card with the price of such goods within a reasonable period from the day on which cancellation was given (provided payment has already been debited to your payment card)
You will receive a confirmation e-mail from us confirming your order prior to delivery. Please make sure you have given us a valid email address when placing your order. You can update or change your email address at any time by clicking on 'My Account / Edit Account information'.
